A thousand Dear Head

This exhibition brings together a group of works in various forms, including painting, video, sculpture, and text, based on inspiration from the myths, beliefs, folklore, and topography of the Suwa region of Nagano Prefecture, which Ohkojima collected during his research residency there in 2022.
We hope that through this exhibition, visitors will gain a sense that we, human beings living in the city today, are not separate from the workings of nature.

A new video work “CHIKATO” will be shown for the first time.
